HCCに対する分子標的薬の歴史、Sorafenib/Regorafenib/Lenvatinibの治験成績やこれまでの知見、副作用マネジメント、また現在治験進行中の免疫チェックポイント阻害薬も含めた治療の展望などについて、詳細かつ解りやすくまとめられた論文です。

上田佳秀先生が日本消化器病学会研究奨励賞を受賞しました。
上田先生が筆頭著者の多施設共同研究論文「Treatment with sofosbuvir and ledipasvir without ribavirin for 12 weeks is highly effective for recurrent hepatitis C virus genotype 1b infection after living donor liver transplantation: a Japanese multicenter experience」が高く評価されたものです。

JCI Insight に神田啓太郎先生、坂本二郎先生（京大循環器内科）の論文「Nardilysin controls intestinal tumorigenesis through HDAC1/p53-dependent transcriptional regulation」が掲載されました。この内容は滋賀医大薬理学講座との共同研究として、NHKの他、京都新聞、日本経済新聞、日刊工業新聞などで報道されました。 京都大学のホームページでも紹介されています。
本研究では、腸管上皮のナルディライジンをノックアウトすると腸腫瘍発生が顕著に抑制されること、ナルディライジンがp53の調節因子であることが示されました。p53は最も重要な癌抑制因子のひとつであるため、ナルディライジンを標的にした新たな治療法が期待されます。

Gastroenterology に木村佳人先生の論文「ARID1A Maintains Differentiation of Pancreatic Ductal Cells and Inhibits Development of Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma in Mice」が掲載されました。
クロマチンリモデリングに関わるArid1Aは、エピジェネティックに発癌を制御する因子として注目を集めています。本研究は、Arid1Aが膵臓で癌抑制的にはたらき、膵管細胞からのIPMNの発生、およびIPMNからの膵癌発生を抑制していることを示し、膵癌の進展過程の重要なプロセスを明らかにしました。
